Responsibilities

  • Lead first power-on and hardware bring-up for newly arrived custom prototypes.
  • Diagnose intermittent crashes, voltage drops, electrical noise, and power-sequencing faults.
  • Determine whether failures originate in hardware, firmware, or software.
  • Validate signal integrity and platform stability with advanced bench and debugging tools.
  • Develop Python automation for overnight stress and environmental validation.

Requirements

Expert use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, Lauterbach JTAG, and GDB is required, together with strong schematic, PCB, and power-distribution knowledge. Signal-integrity, thermal, power-profiling, and boundary-scan experience are preferred.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in a hardware lab environment focused on SoC or ECU validation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
