Privacy Policy for NOAmetrics-RMA
Effective date: August 29, 2026
1. Who operates NOAmetrics-RMA
NOAmetrics-RMA is operated by AINAUTS LLC under the NOAmetrics name.
This Privacy Policy applies to version 1.0 of the NOAmetrics-RMA application for macOS.
2. About NOAmetrics-RMA
NOAmetrics-RMA helps confirm that a local macOS environment meets configured requirements for a remote interview.
The app performs local system checks before an interview, identifies conditions that may need to be corrected, and can continue monitoring configured conditions while the interview is in progress.
NOAmetrics-RMA does not force-close applications, change system settings, or make hiring decisions.
3. Data collection in the current version
The current Mac App Store version of NOAmetrics-RMA does not collect data from the app.
The current production flow does not transmit personal data or other user data off the Mac to AINAUTS LLC or third parties.
This does not mean that the app performs no processing. NOAmetrics-RMA processes limited system and environment information locally on the Mac in order to provide its monitoring functionality.
4. Local system and environment checks
Depending on the configured interview policy, NOAmetrics-RMA may locally check:
- names of running applications against a configured list;
- whether a configured prohibited application is running;
- the number of connected displays;
- the number or state of supported input devices;
- macOS permission and operational status required to perform a configured check; and
- local admission, readiness, and monitoring status.
These checks are performed locally on the Mac.
The current version does not send the results of these checks to AINAUTS LLC or a third party.
NOAmetrics-RMA does not record what a user types.
The current monitoring flow does not record microphone audio or capture the contents of the user's screen.
5. Local monitoring
While monitoring is active, NOAmetrics-RMA may repeat configured checks and create local status or security events when a monitored condition changes.
For example, the app may locally identify that:
- a configured prohibited application became active;
- the number of connected displays changed; or
- a supported input-device condition changed.
These events are used to present the app's local status.
In the current Mac App Store version, these monitoring events are not transmitted off the device through the production flow.
6. Camera access
NOAmetrics-RMA supports operation without a camera when the applicable workflow permits it.
The app also contains support for a conditional camera workflow. When that workflow is available and selected, NOAmetrics-RMA may request macOS camera permission for functions such as:
- local camera preview;
- QR-code recognition;
- compatible camera positioning; and
- local image capture associated with interview-environment verification.
Camera content is not transmitted off the device through the current production flow.
If a future version enables off-device camera, session, or cloud functionality, AINAUTS LLC will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures before releasing that functionality.
7. Local storage
NOAmetrics-RMA may store application settings and operational information locally in the app's macOS storage area.
Local operational information may include:
- monitoring status;
- detected policy conditions;
- timestamps; and
- operational errors.
Production logging is designed to avoid exposing credentials, tokens, secrets, and unnecessary sensitive identifiers.
Developer-only diagnostic controls are not part of the normal App Store experience.
No fixed time-based retention period is stated for locally stored application data.
Because information stored only on the user's Mac is not transmitted to AINAUTS LLC through the current production flow, AINAUTS LLC cannot remotely access or delete that local information.
Users may contact NOAmetrics for guidance regarding locally stored application data.
8. Network and data transmission
The application includes network capability for conditional or future functionality. The presence of network capability does not by itself mean that user data is collected.
The current Mac App Store version does not have reachable first-party transmission of user data through its normal production flow.
Testing of the compatible-camera component included with the application also did not identify remote vendor telemetry during the verified camera workflow.
Future versions may introduce server-connected features.
If such functionality changes the app's data practices, this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that functionality is released.
9. Tracking, advertising, and analytics
The current version of NOAmetrics-RMA:
- does not track users across apps or websites;
- does not contain advertising;
- does not use app information for targeted advertising;
- does not sell app data; and
- does not include third-party advertising or analytics services that collect app data through the current production flow.
10. Third-party components
NOAmetrics-RMA uses Apple system frameworks to provide its macOS interface and local system functionality.
The application also includes a compatible-camera runtime component used for local camera communication when a supported camera workflow is enabled.
Testing of that component during the supported camera workflow did not identify remote vendor telemetry.
No third-party component in the verified current production flow has been identified as collecting app data off the device.
11. macOS permissions and system access
Depending on the active workflow and interview policy, NOAmetrics-RMA may use:
- application and process information to compare running applications with configured policy;
- display information to determine the number of connected displays;
- supported input-device information to determine device presence or count, without recording typed content;
- camera access for a conditional camera workflow;
- USB or device access to communicate with a compatible camera;
- local file access for application settings and operational information; and
- the macOS App Sandbox to limit the application's access to permitted resources.
macOS controls permission prompts and permission changes.
If a required permission is denied, the related check or optional workflow may be unavailable.
A workflow that does not require camera functionality does not require camera permission.
12. Security
NOAmetrics-RMA uses macOS sandboxing, restricted production capabilities, local processing, production log redaction, and secret-exclusion practices to reduce unnecessary access and disclosure.
No storage method or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
AINAUTS LLC reviews the application's privacy disclosures when release behavior changes.
13. Children's privacy
NOAmetrics-RMA is intended for employment-related or contractor-related interview environments and is not directed to children.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
AINAUTS LLC may update this Privacy Policy when NOAmetrics-RMA's features or data practices change.
Future camera, session, backend, cloud, analytics, or support functionality may involve different data practices.
When a released feature changes the current data-collection practices, the Privacy Policy and applicable App Store privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.
The effective date at the top of this policy will be updated when this policy changes.
