Responsibilities
- Develop low-latency bare-metal or RTOS firmware for standalone monitoring microcontrollers.
- Implement startup, shutdown, CAN, and LIN communication state machines.
- Configure watchdogs, hardware safety gates, and deterministic failure-handling loops.
- Offload time-critical safety checks from the main application processor.
- Validate firmware under simulated vehicle stress and failure conditions.
Requirements
Strong Embedded C, bare-metal programming, RTOS scheduling, CAN, LIN, and microcontroller architecture knowledge are required. ARM Cortex-M or Infineon AURIX, MISRA C, ISO 26262, ASIL, CANoe, and CANalyzer experience are preferred.
Experience
3-5 years of hands-on experience in microcontroller firmware development.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
